Lean6Sigma - now providing courses online
Lean6Sigma is a ‘boutique’ provider of in house and public process improvement courses and workshop/project facilitation for leading company business units in New Zealand. Chris Reed wanted to add online training courses provided through a third party portal to their delivery options. They also wanted to improve the current design to provide a consistent experience and improve the site speed.

Results: We designed an updated, clean, and easy-to-navigate website while providing the additional functionality to sell online courses and integrate with their 3rd party course delivery system. The homepage speed has improved - from up to 8 seconds to load, down to under 2 seconds. Lean6sigma are now selling and delivering courses online and receiving a good number of inquiries.
From Chris Reed via LinkedIn
Tarnya has professionally maintained my wordpress website for over 12 months and has recently completed a page builder upgrade (to optimise speed) and redesigned the website layout to accommodate the interface with a third party portal so I can sell online training courses. Tarnya has been great to work with and self initiates a lot of the tasks I haven't even thought about and has made a stand-out job of the new website. I would strongly recommend Tarnya for both website maintenance and new design work.

Priscila Hunter - Artist
Co-creation Web Design
Pricilla wanted a custom design that incorporated a mosaic of images on the home page. It was important that she had a unique website with spaces and a variety of sizing, including custom mosaic on the shop page. Creating a responsive functional design was going to be a challenge for her without help.
Results: Unique responsive versions of her ideas, including instructions on how Pricilla can edit the mosaics for both her homepage and shop herself!
Here’s what Priscilla said when I checked in to see how she felt the project had gone:
The video and documentation is so helpful. I've been adding a whole bunch of things to the home page and getting used to the process. And I think it's looking awesome! Thank you so much!

Harbour Rose Florist
Sandra is the owner and operator of Habour Rose florist, and she wanted a website to reflect the beautiful flowers and arrangements that she provides. The style needed to be modern, elegant, and easy to navigate.
Results: A simple E-commerce site layout highlighted the beautiful flower arrangements while being incredibly easy for customers to navigate. Sandra appreciated Kitchen Table Design's responsiveness, technical expertise, and willingness to create her vision.
Deacons of Aotearoa
Non-profit Web Design
Anne approached us on behalf of Diakonia Aotearoa New Zealand Association. They wanted a website that informs and promotes their ministry as well as the ability to offer courses. They ran a Facebook page but felt that was now becoming inadequate for their organisational needs.

From Reverend Anne Russell-Brighty
We are getting lots of compliments about the website.
I am glad that we have a website care plan so I am confident that the website is being well maintained. Also I can give you additional content to add to the site without any additional charges.
I love how you have made our course look on the website.

Play to Learn Early Learning Centre
Website Design for Preschools
Play to Learn Early Learning Centre came to us requesting a redesign for their early childhood education website.
The goals for the redesign:
- Reflect their philosophy
- Highlight their unique selling point
- Embrace the Maori culture and language
They also asked for help with online marketing to increase enrolments and build their waiting list. We developed some Search Engine Optimisation objective and developed a social media strategy with a view to increasing enrollments.

At the time of writing this case study, they rank #1 on Google for childcare in their suburb. Play to Learn now has a waiting list for enrolments.
Their staff maintains a very active Facebook page which supports their referral marketing as parents/caregivers share photos from the activities their children are doing with family and friends. We checked in to see how the whole process had gone for them, and they had this to say:
The instructional videos are so helpful, thank you.
We are making some great headway with our marketing - we have a full roll and are making some great progress with building our wait list.
We have been able to collect lots of reviews from parents, several of them have added a review to our Google My Business Page.

The Client's Brief
Ian's existing website was dependent on a plugin that was no longer supported and he wanted to take this opportunity to give the website a redesign. Ian wanted the ability to have a video on his homepage to highlight his recent exhibitions, each photo in the galleries to show a full-page version when clicked and an improvement to the navigation of the website.
My Approach
Created beautiful index pages for the galleries rather than just using the drop-down navigation in the existing theme.
The design clean and light so the artwork is the highlight of the website
"Thanks again for your work... marvellous!"
Ian was particularly happy with the responsive design as he felt the website worked well across all screen sizes - even a phone and this was not something the previous design had achieved. He liked the split menu. Videos and documentation were provided for the client to add future artwork.

John Robertson is a multimedia animation director from New Zealand with over 20 years of animation and production experience. His talents have taken him around the globe working for clients in UK, US, Australia, Germany, and South America. John provided the design for the website and together we produced his brand new website!

I have worked with Tarnya putting together my portfolio website and making subsequent additions to it. Tarnya rebuilt the site from the ground up in a very short time after I was dissatisfied with work done by a previous web builder.
It now works properly and has all the capability I wanted. I have always found her very swift and efficient to work with. She understands the brief and always gives me what I want the first time. Communication is easy, her response time is quick, and her fees are honest and fair. I would highly recommend her.

TECHMS
Margaret was frustrated with their existing website. Nothing was working as they wanted it and it was difficult to update. There was extra information that would help their customers learn about their products, but they had not included it on the website because it wasn’t clear where it should go.
Results: Designed an updated, clean, and easy to navigate website, while providing guidance for content, alongside an increase in exposure through superior Search Engine Optimisation.
