Play to Learn Early Learning Centre came to us requesting a redesign for their early childhood education website.
They wanted the design to:
- Reflect their philosophy
- Highlight their unique selling point: the strong reciprocal relationships with the child and their whanau in a positive, emotionally safe environment
- Embrace the Maori culture and language
They asked for help with the marketing aspect of their new website as their goal was to increase enrolments and build their waiting list. After auditing their old website, we could see that their use of Search Engine Optimisation and social media was limited and could be holding back increasing their enrollments.
As a preschool, it was important for their new website to have bright, fun, visual elements, so we incorporated a rainbow menu and included some unique New Zealand elements to reflect their dual heritage.
Our behind the scenes approach included working with Play to Learn Early Learning Centre to improve their online presence using on-page optimisation, a content strategy, optimising their Google My Business Page and further development of their Facebook marketing strategy. Their social media was an easy place to start increasing enrolments, and to continue further development of their online marketing strategy.
At the time of writing this case study, they rank #1 for childcare in their suburb competing with a number of other centres and now enjoy a waiting list.
Their staff maintains a very active Facebook page which supports their referral marketing as parents/caregivers share photos from the activities their children are doing with family and friends. We checked in to see how the whole process had gone for them, and they had this to say:
The instructional videos are so helpful, thank you.
We are making some great headway with our marketing - we have a full roll and are making some great progress with our wait list.
We have been able to collect lots of reviews from parents, several of them have added a review to our Google My Business Page.
