Case Study
Lean6Sigma is a ‘boutique’ provider of in house and public process improvement courses and workshop/project facilitation for leading company business units in New Zealand.
In consultation with Chris Reed, the owner, the project, had the following objectives:
- Redesign the website to provide a consistent experience and make the site more user-friendly
- Improve website speed both for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and User- Experience (UX)
- Add online training courses provided through a third party portal.
- Integration of third party portal
- Custom training videos provided for management of eCommerce and content management

My Approach:
Phase 1: Research
We researched the causes of the low page speed on the current site. We looked for the best option for integrating with their 3rd party provider for the online course delivery as well as their target audience.
Phase 2: Styling and Functionality
While adding additional functionality to the website, we also did a re-design to provide a consistent look aimed at their target audience. Our goal was to provide a visual experience that establishes credibility and trust.
Phase 3: Launch and Ongoing Marketing
The speed of the website has markedly improved. The usability of the website has improved. We provided the necessary functionality to enable Lean6sigma to provide online courses as an option adding to their existing delivery options.
The Results:
Lean6Sigma is selling and has now sold online courses. They are also receiving a good number of inquiries.

Tarnya has professionally maintained my wordpress website for over 12 months and has recently completed a page builder upgrade (to optimise speed) and redesigned the website layout to accommodate the interface with a third party portal so I can sell online training courses. Tarnya has been great to work with and self initiates a lot of the tasks I haven't even thought about and has made a stand-out job of the new website. I would strongly recommend Tarnya for both website maintenance and new design work.
